EAMT 2011: Call for EU project presentations

The 15th Annual Conference of the European Association for Machine Translation (EAMT 2011, http://www.eamt2011.eu), which will be held in the Faculty of Arts of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, in Leuven, Belgium, May 30-31, 2011, invites the coordinators of current EC-funded projects related to machine translation or translation technologies to present the current status of their projects at the Conference.

Interested projects should send a single-page PDF document, containing:

  • the title of the project presentation (which should include the title of the project itself)
  • the call, nature and identification of the project
  • the URL of the project’s website
  • the list of partners
  • the duration of the project (e.g., “March 2010 to September 2012”)
  • a short abstract (maximum 250 words) describing the project (objectives, expected impact, etc.) and * summarizing its current status and the results obtained to date

Projects will have time for a short (1-slide, 2 minutes) oral presentation (a “poster boaster” talk) as part of the main programme of the conference, and will have a specific space in one of the poster sessions.

Accepted projects will pay a project registration fee of €200,00 through the EAMT-2011 on-line registration page.

Important dates

Abstract submission: April 16, 2011

Notification of acceptance: April 23, 2011.

Registration deadline: April 30, 2011.
