Deliverable submitted but not visible on the site, why?
The content on our website is of different types:
- deliverable is for the administrative view of deliverables listed under "internal workplan"
- biblio for the publications, e.g. to freeze a PDF version of a deliverable or a slide presentation
- wiki pages for "living" documents, collaboratively edited, like the workplan, which is in flux. Progress reports are edited online on the wiki and printed from there.
What you see and where depends on which type of item you have entered as a deliverable.
Even if you think you have more entry points for a deliverable, they are actually different types and serve different purposes:
- deliverable is for the workpackage leader to collect ongoing notes about the work being done (hours spent, bottlenecks, tasks and the original description as in the Annex I).
- biblio/deliverable is the actual document/software that is delivered, with bibliographic metadata. It has to be linked to the administrative view (there is a scroll down list of all publications to select from). This publication is the one that is automatically pushed to our news feed, to Twitter and to the quick view list under the navigation item "Deliverables".
- wiki pages are for your convenience when you need to edit a document with some other partner. They allow to collect and archive comments and new revisions of pages. The print icon generates a PDF that can be used as the final deliverable.
