We invite submissions of book chapter abstracts for a new book "Towards the Multilingual Semantic Web" to be published by Springer.

Motivation

The amount of Internet users with native languages other than English has seen a substantial growth in recent years.

TAUS launches Translation Services API

20th September, 2012, Amsterdam – TAUS, the translation innovation think tank and platform for shared industry services, has launched a common Translation Services API to be adopted by the industry.

Most interoperability efforts for translation processes have focused on file formats. This made sense when systems were not pervasively interconnected.

Reporting Use of Resources

I have now created a new content type on our project website to ease our tracking of person months per workpackage. It is called "Use of Resources" and currently allows for reporting person months, per employee, per workpackage and reporting period. Note that our reporting periods are 3. However if you think this would be useful, I can easily add the current 6 months reporting period and you can test entering data from you site in this way.
